Cambridge Vacuum Engineering shortlisted for Employer of the Year

Cambridge Vacuum Engineering (CVE) is proud to announce it has been shortlisted as a finalist in the ‘Employer of the Year’ category at the Cambridge Independent Business Awards 2026.

The recognition comes two years after CVE won ‘Innovation of the Year’ for its Ebflow technology, highlighting the company’s continued commitment to innovation and excellence.

The awards celebrate outstanding business achievement and the contribution businesses make to the Cambridgeshire economy. The gala final will take place on Thursday 24 September at King’s College Cambridge, where CVE will join five other local businesses shortlisted in the Employer of the Year category.

CVE impressed the judges with its comprehensive employee wellbeing programme, which brings together initiatives supporting employee wellbeing, professional development, long-service recognition, community engagement and social activities designed to bring colleagues together.
